First 5 wants to ensure that all families can easily access multiple services and resources through an integrated system sustaining programs and services to achieve the desired results capable and sustained organizations.

Information Sharing

First 5 San Bernardino and itʼs partners have made considerable contributions to strengthen the systems that serve children and families by convening partners and stakeholder meetings and community focus groups and forums to discuss strategies, lessons learned and solutions to common challenges. An example of this was the countywide coordination of childrenʼs SART (Screening, Assessment, Referral and Treatment).

System Integration Advocacy

First 5 continues to play an important role in connecting agencies/programs to one another and increase collaboration with the County. There have been formal partnerships with Department of Behavioral Health, Community Action Partnership, and many more.
