Through the work of Partner Agencies in the Health and Well-being Cluster, the First 5 Commission strives to ensure the well being of all children in the County. In their work towards this goal, the Health and Well-being cluster is comprised of two strategy areas, Child Assessment and Health Care Access.
This strategy includes two innovative program models that work towards the development of an integrated model for mothers and young children and also provides support for parents with children with special needs.
First 5 San Bernardino has partnered with First 5 California to make sure children ages 0-5 have the health insurance they need. Both are working together to accomplish this goal in a number of ways.
