Parent/Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Through this program, Christian Counseling Service provides professional
mental health services to families with children ranging in age from birth to age
five. The key service of this program includes providing Parent-Child Interaction
Therapy to families along with the continued training of staff in this therapy model.
PCIT is used to strengthen at-risk families and increase family stability overall.
Opening Doors for Families of Preschoolers
This program extends the basic concepts of attachment, attunement, positive
reinforcement, nurturing and structuring age appropriate behavior to the preschool
classroom with the intention of addressing the behavioral, psycho-social, and developmental
issues of at-risk, special needs children.
